Our First 100 Days

Release of the booklet on 100 Days of AP achievements

We were quiet.

That’s what we were on the day we completed our 100 days in office.

While we were quiet, our actions were loud.

On the 16th of this month the government of Andhra Pradesh under the leadership of Sri Chandrababu Naidu completed 100 days in office.

We didn’t buy space and time in newspapers and television channels. We didn’t sponsor any special editions or pull outs in the dailies and periodicals. No advertorials. No boastful talk. There was no ostentation. We were as quiet as we were till the 15th. As quiet as we were for all those 99 days. Our Chief Minister did not line up any big ticket media interviews. There was no media blitz.

On that day the union minister of power Sri Piyush Goyal was in town to sign an MOU for Power For All programme that gives 24×7 power to Andhra Pradesh. NTPC officials came and signed papers to set up a 4000 Mw thermal power station in Visakhapatnam district. Union government’s solar power wing officials were in tow to sign an agreement to set up what could perhaps be the world’s largest solar power park with 2500 Mw capacity. Defence Ministry officials came to ink an agreement that handed over the lands allocated to them to set up defence related industries. Hero Motors representatives came to receive the land where they are going to set up their motor cycle manufacturing and R&D unit.

All this amounted to over ₹ 80k crores investments in Andhra Pradesh.

All this has happened in a spartan tent erected in the premises of Lakeview guest house from where the AP Chief Minister works.

A booklet on what the Governmemt of AP has done in the last 100 was released on the occasion: Telugu version by Sri Chandrababu Naidu and English version by Sri Piyush Goyal. A link to the slideshare of the booklet can be found here: http://goo.gl/Gek132

Please do take a look at it and let me know your thoughts on it.

ONLY DECISIONS , NO ACTIONS SO FAR. when getting free publicity where is the need of advetorials or advertisements. The government is giving an impression that 24×7 power supply throughout the state from 2nd October which is not correst. In some selected mandals only 24×7 power will be supplied. The fsct is people of Andhra Pradesh have lot of hopes on NCBN.Hope their hopes will come true.

My Wishes to u. Chandra Babu Naidu.. turned Prabhakar.. Let the Development (including social development) be a peoples movement. Holistic Development, qualitative change in perceptions, improving delivery mechanism.. is the need of hour. Environmental concerns need to be addressed in the process of development. A long-way to go…

I think this CM has a potential to make his promises a reality. No one should expect such large projects to happen in just 100 days. I applaud the entire AP govt team working so hard in such humbling work environment… cant be more proud if the guy.. all the very best…

I am really happy with the frequency with which you are engaging your readers. Please continue this. It is a treat to have someone like you holding an important position reach out to us via your blog.

Yes the govt seems to be doing well. A lot more needs to be done by CBN to mitigate the political failure (on behalf of all parties though congress takes the lion share of the blame) in preventing the state division.

The bifurcation of the state has resulted in a feeling of ‘vengeance’ in the people who have their roots in the non-Telangana regions. I think the government should leverage this and channelize this emotion in the people constructively.

It would be great if the AP govt. can create a website like http://mygov.nic.in . I am sure there are many who are looking for a way to contribute to the development of the state and to see the state prosper.

Parakala got that job because of his capability, may be
Ms. Sitaraman being his wife might have helped him a bit, but so what?? Why he should be ashamed of it? Don’t you forget even in olden days all the ministers to the kings and emperors used to be brahmins mostly?? Do you understand why?? And what you mean by “don’t show brahmanism”?

Managed to watch the press conference that you conducted in refuting the Telangana government’s false assertions. I’ve come out quite impressed! Good to see a credible, rational, scientific and facts-based debate in (ధారాళమైన) Telugu.

Really hope the message seeps through in all of the Telugu-speaking lands! Whether you agree with it or not, following the law and basing your arguments on truth needs to be at least a first step. Amazing that people think they can get away lying, or going against delivered judgments.

    Parakala Garu..

V thought you as great person with full of knowledge, We appreciated your moment against Bifurcation. But what you are doing now.. you are in the Govt of person who has given his supported for division?? what happened to your ethics??what happened to your movement spirit??? If you are being offered a Big Post you will jump into it and grab it. you doesnt have any self respect?? Being what u called yourself as samikyavadhi what you did..why you have not celebrated Nov 1. Why?? You and your Govt dint remembered Potti Sri ramulu..doesnt your heart said you are doing wrong..R you not feeling guilty for the acts you are doing.. dint you have any idea that to get benefits from center Mr.Babu is using you. Doesn’t you feel that you got a job by recommendation of your Wife. We had lot of respect for you when you exposed the culprit ideas of praja rajyam. Then again why are you supporting a poliltical party. Being a respectable person you should not support a political party. you should work for the welfare of community but not for a party. All my regards/respect for you has gone when you joined CBN & Co. A Brahmin will be utilised and will be thrown away without any respect.. request you to quit the post and do some good to people of both states.

CM CB. Naidu is capable of turning AP into no 1 state in India…a already proved once…the current Singapore visit is an example…like sales executive of a private company, the CM has gone for an investment campaign and other agenda… With such good advisors like Parakala…

Dear Parakala, I need to communicate with you for key inputs for the growth of our AP…. How to send you an email message directly?
